Russell Fountain

Russell Fountain is co-owner, President, and Executive Consultant at Loyacona Fountain Group.  Mr. Fountain oversees the big picture strategic growth and day-to-day operations of the firm and also serves as the Director of Catastrophe Operations.  Russell grew up in the insurance industry, where his father enjoyed a 40-year career as an insurance adjuster.  After graduating from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in the School of Commerce and Business Administration along with an advertising minor in the School of Communications, he followed in his father’s footsteps and became a licensed adjuster in multiple states for 15 years.

Mr. Fountain then changed his course within the industry and joined a global disaster restoration company where he served many roles over ten years.  Initially, he was an estimator and account executive, then learned how to manage and coordinate large loss response and recovery efforts for clients across the country.  He continued his evolvement by taking on additional regional management duties where he supervised offices and operations across multiple gulf coast states.

After a successful ten years in the disaster recovery arena, Mr. Fountain founded his own consulting and disaster recovery firm, Global Disaster Solutions (GDS). During this time, he met Patrick Loyacona (Loyacona Consulting Group-LCG), and the two firms began collaborating on projects in the aftermath of Hurricane Sally in the fall of 2020. And after four very successful years at GDS, Russell and Patrick joined forces and merged his firm with LCG.

Mr. Fountain’s years of industry knowledge and invaluable experience in dealing with a myriad of catastrophic events has provided him a unique exposure to hurricanes, tornados, floods, fires, mold, hazardous materials cleanup, and even mass casualty bio-hazard situations.  All of which have prepared him to grow and help lead LFG into one of the top consulting firms in the country.

Russell resides in Mobile, Alabama with his wife and two children.
